The holiday draw schedule has been set for The Raceway at Western Fair District. The traditional Boxing Day program is slated for the afternoon of Thursday, December 26 with a post time of 12:50 PM.

The fifth edition of the Drivers' Holiday Challenge on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at The Raceway at Western Fair District went right down to the wire. When the dust settled, it was local reinsman Lorne House taking home the title with a one-point victory over 2024 Ontario Regional driving champion Tyler Borth. 

This coming Tuesday the 5th Annual Drivers’ Holiday Challenge, in support of Toys For Tots, will take place at The Raceway at Western Fair District and local driver Lorne House, at 43, says this will be his first time competing in any drivers’ challenge.

A rare occurrence at The Raceway on Tuesday evening as three half-brothers (all from the mare Machs Affair) would be programmed to race within 25 minutes of each other and two of them would actually race against each other and square off for a final half battle in Race 10.
