The month of November, at The Raceway, saw 13 race programs go behind the gate for a total of 138 races. The total handle for the month was approximately $4.8M - for an average of $371K per card or almost $35K per race.

Live racing continues on the Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings at 5:50 PM with Caretaker Appreciate Night planned for this Friday, December 5.

The Drivers’ Holiday Challenge, in support of Toys For Tots, is back this season - scheduled for December 10 - with a Trifecta Tuesday in play for that program as well.

“One week left until the Toys for Tots Drivers’ Holiday Challenge at The Raceway at the Western Fair District which means there is also a week left to donate.” says Holiday Toy Drive organizer Kelley McNiven. “As you know, we have received a lot of support this year through toy and monetary donations - thank you to everyone who has donated thus far! If you are still looking to donate, toy donations can be dropped off to Mare Flare at Flamboro Downs until this weekend or to either of the Wilson’s Tack Shop locations in London. Toy and monetary donations can also be given to Kim Heywood McNiven, Erin Swainson-Brickman, Brinsley Brickman, or myself… All donations will be entered for our three draws!”

Eight drivers - sponsored by local stables - will compete in the 2024 edition of the Drivers’ Holiday challenge in support of Toys For Tots.
