Raceway Heating Up For The Holidays
The Raceway is heating up for the holidays following a season-high handle of $608,749 on Tuesday evening. The 11-dash program saw London’s leading driver Tyler Borth guide four winners on the night. His wins included I Loved Her First - 1:59.3, Jayport Roadrunner - 2:00, Can Be A Treasure 1:59.3 and Azucar Jack - 1:57 flat for the fastest mile on the night.
Travis Henry would have a multiple driving win night, as well, scoring aboard the two-year-old colt Just Ask Joe - 1:59.4 and the trotter Her Grace K - 2:02.1.
El Toro Loco would win his Raceway debut, in the featured trotting event, with Garrett Rooney on board for No One Knows Us Stable and trainer Stephen Bossence. The four-year-old son of Walner would travel first-up, for a long ways, to eventually wear down pace-setter Johnny Buckshot and come out on top in a win photo - stopping the clock in 1:58.1.
Live racing resumes this Friday night at 5:50 ET and then following the Christmas break - it’s the return of the Boxing Day matinee on Tuesday, December 26th with a first race post time of 12:55 ET.
